NURIKABE is the culmination of the Nishimoto brothers’ research into folklore and adaptation under the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship. It follows three high school graduates who get trapped a mysterious dimension filled with magic riddle books, dangerous creatures, and omnipotent beings. Will the trio choose to escape their real-world issues by remaining in this world forever, or will they choose to find their way back home?
